I’ve been in boxing most of my life. I started training at 11 years old and went on to fight professionally across the UK and Europe, earning titles including the British Masters Championship and the WBF International Title. Over the years I built a record of 23 wins and 8 losses, and the nickname “The Spartan” - a reflection of my fighting style and my approach to life.

But what matters most to me now isn’t the belts or the fights. It’s the people I train. I’ve been a personal trainer for many years, and I’m proud to have a loyal group of clients who’ve stayed with me because they know I’ll always push them, believe in them, and get results.

At Middle Aged Vandals, I bring everything I’ve learned in the ring and in the gym to help men over 50 find their strength, fitness, and confidence again. Whether you’ve never boxed before, haven’t set foot in a gym for years, or just want to feel sharper and stronger, I’ll be in your corner.

No egos. No judgment. Just hard work, encouragement, and the chance to rediscover the warrior in you.

As a 57-year-old guy, I know how life’s responsibilities can push fitness to the bottom of the list. I’ve had decades where work, family, and a good social life came first. I drank too much, smoked for years, and let my health slide - so I know what it feels like to want a reset.

When I was much younger, I dabbled in martial arts - not just for competition, but because I loved the camaraderie, the stress relief and the sense of belonging. For years I missed that.

Middle Aged Vandals is about bringing that feeling back for men like us. You don’t need to be fit, you don’t need any boxing or martial arts experience, and you don’t even need to have set foot in a gym before. Whether you’re rusty, starting again after years away, or taking your very first step into fitness - you’re welcome.

This isn’t about being the toughest guy in the room. It’s about showing up, moving, hitting pads, laughing with other men who get where you’re at, and rediscovering energy, strength and confidence at your own pace.
